What World Race Alumni Say...
The World Race was absolutely monumental for me in so many ways! When I look at my 27 years of life now as a whole, I seriously see it in two distinctly different pieces: The ‘before-The-World-Race-piece’ and ‘The-World-Race-and-after-piece’. God rocked my world, man! I will never be the same as I was before...nor do I want to be. I learned how to actually be a leader, how to minister and simply talk to people, how to start being a son of God, and I freakin’ became a man! And maybe most importantly...I discovered what I was made for: God’s work overseas! It was an incredible 11 months to say the least. Ryan Stewart, January 2007
Those eleven months around the world on the World Race were a pilgrimage of abandonment, brokenness, and empowerment. Everything about life changed for me the minute I embarked on the journey. Through the course of living with the poorest in the world and being stripped open in community, I came to believe in Him as the one who holds all power and authority, who is alive and active today. And it was out of such a discovery that He began unveiling within me the truth that by His Spirit, I am part of a generation that will usher forth the Kingdom of heaven all over this world by an earth-shattering invasion. It began me on a journey of living life alive and committed to His dream manifesting itself: as awakened children walk to destiny, His glory falls and praise erupts throughout every nation and tribe across the earth. Caroline Crawford, January 2008
